Quick Play guide #1720

Fall Race 3D

Fall Race 3D is an arcade running race: stickmen sprint across a course of platforms, and falling off ends your run. The publisher names two ways to reach the next platform — speed up or use the paraglider — and this guide reads the course around them.

The gist

The short version

An arcade running race where you and other stickmen sprint across platforms and the ground drops away between them. Fall off and you're out; reach the next platform by speeding up or opening the paraglider.

What you're after

What the goal actually is

Keep running until the end and win the title — which means never falling off the platforms. Every gap is a choice between speed and the paraglider, and the distance decides which one.

How to steer

The controls

Your stickman runs with the pack, and the game's own prompts show the inputs for speed and the paraglider (control layout pending-playtest). The habit that works is picking your crossing tool before you reach the edge, not at it.

Your first minute

Your first sixty seconds

Let the first stretch run at a normal pace and watch how far the stickmen carry on a plain jump. Knowing what a jump covers makes every paraglider call after it obvious.

A gentle start

An easy way in

Keep speed on the solid platforms and slow only at the edge of a big gap, where you commit to speed or glider. Rushing every gap is how runners fall; choosing each one is how they stay in the race.

Where it wobbles

The usual trip-ups

Falls usually come from one of two mistakes: jumping too late at full speed, or wasting the paraglider on a gap a plain jump would clear. Fix the small gaps first, then save the glider for the wide ones.

When you're stuck

A smaller next step

If a gap keeps ending your run, stand at the edge for a moment and watch another stickman cross it. Their takeoff point is a free demonstration of the timing you need.

From the desk

A note from our desk

The paraglider is for the gaps, not the straightaways. Save it for the crossings that visibly need it, and let speed carry you everywhere else.

First-timer questions

Before your first play

When do I need the paraglider?

On gaps that are visibly wider than a plain jump. The publisher lists speed and the paraglider as the two ways to reach the next platform — use speed on the short ones and the glider on the long ones.

How do I stop falling off?

Commit to one crossing choice at the edge instead of hesitating mid-gap. Most falls come from late jumps or using the glider where a plain run would do.

How do I get into first place?

Keep speed on the platforms and lose as little as possible at each crossing. A clean crossing keeps you with the pack; a fall ends the race entirely.
