Playfield Journal
About Playfield Journal
Why this site publishes guides before linking to external browser games.
Playfield Journal is an independently operated editorial directory for browser games. We keep a focused catalog and write a practical guide around each listing. Every guide is based on the publisher's own description of the game and a review of the current build: the goal, the controls, a sensible first-session plan, and the pitfalls worth knowing before you start. Where a detail could not be verified, we say so and mark it for a later playtest rather than guess.
Authorization for the listed catalog
Playfield Journal is authorized to present the games in its current catalog. Each title is included under a distribution license, and the playable files, artwork, and trademarks for those titles belong to their respective owners. What we bring to the table is the guide writing, the category organization, and the site design, not the games themselves.
Our editorial standard
We publish one dedicated guide per listed title and write it for someone opening that game for the first time. We do not claim to have played every title: details we cannot verify from the publisher's description or the current build are flagged as unverified or conservative guidance. When a title's details or player behaviour materially change, we revise the page rather than leaving stale advice up. A listing is not a claim of ownership of the title, its artwork, or its playable files.
Audience and family-friendly titles
The catalog includes games that may appeal to families, but the site is written for a general audience and is not presented as a service directed to children. We do not knowingly request children's personal information. Advertising and consent settings must still reflect the operator's actual traffic, applicable regional rules, and the external provider's controls.
Independent browsing
External providers deliver the playable games. Playfield Journal contributes the editorial text, organization, and site design. Please use contact our editorial desk to report inaccurate information, broken links, or rights concerns.
